Claire Simone is a rare find. A superb vocalist with over 15 years experience, both in live performance and studio work. Claire’s ability and versatility seems almost unlimited; she has a voice that covers a wide spectrum of styles and genres. As well as solo appearances in venues all over the UK, she has also performed in many bands including two 'Big Bands' performing the classic standards. As the lead singer of 'Addictions to Groove', Claire played many live festivals including the Brecon Jazz Festival. She has also been backing singer for a major touring band.
Claire is available for session work and is an accomplished lyricist. She has plenty of experience working with new material, providing lyrics or melodies, and often both. Over the years she has written for many musicians and has a talent for creating the right feel in her writing. Claire is also accomplished in harmonies and providing backing vocals, and her professionalism is always commented on positively by those she has worked with.
